Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 is required
- Ability to clean and service assigned areas according to established methods and procedures with minimal supervision
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or provide exemption documentation upon hiring
- Ability to work evening shifts including weekend and holiday rotations
- Availability to work 32 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and endurance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
Job Duties
- Perform various cleaning duties to maintain clean, orderly and safe conditions in all assigned rooms and areas
- Clean and service assigned areas according to established methods and procedures with minimal supervision
- Comply with safety and infection control standards
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations
- Follow directions from the Team Leader or designee
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Support the overall cleanliness and safety goals of the hospital environment
