Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 is required
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 unless exempted
- Ability to perform physical cleaning duties including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Availability for evening shift work from 3:00pm to 11:30pm with scheduled weekend and holiday rotation
- Willingness to work in multiple facilities including hospital and off-site buildings
- Good communication skills to report issues effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum age 18 years required
- Ability to clean and service assigned areas following established procedures with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to work evening shifts including weekends and holidays on rotation
- Basic understanding of safety and infection control practices
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning duties in assigned hospital and facility areas following established procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in patient rooms, public areas, and support spaces
- Use proper cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report maintenance or safety issues to the Team Leader or designated supervisor
- Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols
- Assist with special cleaning projects and terminal cleans as needed
- Support housekeeping needs at off-site Southcoast Health buildings as required
