Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting bending and standing for long periods
- strong attention to detail
- excellent communication skills
- commitment to following safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work independently and as part of a team

- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
Job Duties
- clean and sanitize guest rooms according to the hotel's standards including making beds cleaning bathrooms dusting vacuuming and replenishing amenities
- ensure all rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies such as towels toiletries and coffee tea supplies
- report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
- clean and maintain common areas of the hotel including hallways lobbies elevators and public restrooms
- ensure common areas are always tidy clean and welcoming to guests
- collect sort and transport linens and towels to the laundry area
- ensure an adequate supply of clean linens and towels is always available
- respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously
- provide assistance to guests as needed to enhance their stay
- follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions
- collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure all rooms and common areas are cleaned in a timely manner
- assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor
