Job Duties
- Ensures that the rooms within the facility are cleaned in the proper manner
- Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing housekeeping services
- Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating and cooling units daily as instructed
- Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures and remove water marks
- Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrances
- Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing
- Clean floors including sweeping, dusting, and damp or wet mopping with proper safety signs in place
- Assists in other housekeeping duties as needed
- Assists in the laundry as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
