Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience recommended
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy items
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Housekeeping experience desirable
- Neat, pleasant personality
- Time management skills
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
- Ability to move, traverse, reach corners and high places
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs
Job Duties
- Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
- Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
- Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
- Proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities
- Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
- Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following standards
- Practice safety standards and report hazards
- Respect guests' property
- Responsible care of equipment
- Report to work on time and follow schedules
- Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
