Job Requirements
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- ability to work independently
- ability to reschedule cleaning activities to meet the needs of residents or nursing staff
- ability to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families, visitors and co-workers
- ability to read and understand standard English
- ability to work with standard cleaning chemicals
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in long-term care or hospital setting preferred

Job Duties
- perform day-to-day housekeeping functions in facility offices, resident rooms and common areas
- sweep and mop floors
- dust furniture
- clean walls, furniture and equipment as needed
- clean resident bathrooms
- work with cleaning chemicals and cleaners daily
- reschedule cleaning activities to meet needs of residents or nursing staff
- interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and co-workers
