Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience in a hospitality, service, or consumer-facing franchise preferred
- Must have a positive and willing attitude to learn
- Ability to follow guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well under high-pressure situations
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Clear communication skills
- Desire to provide hospitality and guest service
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality with clock-in and clock-out times
- Ability to physical perform tasks such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting as needed
- Commitment to following job-related instructions and performing other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective at listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns
- Clear communication skills
- Desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive and clock in on time for shifts
- Ability to clock in and out during designated breaks
- Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work together with team members to contribute to guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Understand and use relevant technology for the role
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests by name with a smile while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- Ensure handover reports are accurate and timely
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and remain well-groomed while smiling
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Show willingness to stretch beyond traditional role requirements
- Clean and restock assigned guest rooms thoroughly per shift
- Perform cleaning in storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and deep cleaning as assigned
