Job Duties
- Works weekends and holidays and has the ability to arrive to work on time
- follows procedures for clocking in and out
- replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, paper goods, and guest supplies
- makes beds neatly with fresh sheets and pillowcases
- sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens
- assists guests upon request within reasonable limits
- sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and mops kitchen, bathroom, and other hard surface floors
- vacuums rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- dusts all furniture, TVs, window ledges, ceiling fans, door frames including exterior doors, and other dust collecting areas in the unit
- washes or cleans walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills as needed
- cleans bathrooms including toilet bowls, sinks, mirrors, tubs, and shower doors
- cleans bathroom and kitchen countertops
- monitors and reports losses of furniture, appliances, or other items from owner units to management immediately
- empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays
- performs major cleaning of cupboards, drawers, and closets as needed
- loads dishwasher and washes dishes and utensils when applicable
- removes trash and waste from guestrooms for pickup
- replenishes bathroom supplies
- checks and replaces light bulbs each time unit is vacated
- polishes chrome and other metal bathroom and kitchen fixtures
- cleans stove, refrigerator, microwave, and other kitchen appliances
- deep cleans guest rooms when needed
- tags lost and found items
- certifies unit cleanliness ready for occupancy
- assists in laundry room when needed
- participates in health and safety meetings
- maintains professional conduct and proper dress code
- reports hazardous conditions for safety
- picks up trash and debris
- follows supervisor directions
- participates in setup and breakdown of resort activities
- accepts constructive criticism
- performs other duties as assigned by management
