Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • positive and willing to learn attitude
  • ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • able to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • effective at listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns
  • clear communication skills
  • desire to provide excellent guest service
  • willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must arrive and clock in on time and clock out at scheduled shift ending time
  • must clock in and out for breaks at designated times
  • must provide sufficient notice when calling out
  • physically able to perform duties involving stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • use guests' names to ensure they feel welcomed
  • contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
  • support and be aware of all hotel events
  • answer incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
  • keep all work areas sparkling clean and well-organized
  • pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • greet guests by name with a smile while cleaning
  • complete all operational checklists accurately each shift
  • provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • wear clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
  • communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • stretch beyond traditional roles to meet business needs
  • collaborate with all team members to foster a welcoming environment
  • complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking supplies and attending meetings
  • thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift
  • participate in additional cleaning projects in storage, public, and laundry areas as assigned
