Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning services desirable
- physical ability to perform tasks including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
- ability to handle pace and pressure of high-demand environments
- strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- basic technology proficiency relevant to job functions
- compliance with hotel uniform and grooming standards
- ability to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be at least 18 years of age
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- willingness to follow all safety and operational procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- desire to serve all guests and provide excellent hospitality
- age 18 years or older
- willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- punctuality in clocking in and out for shifts and breaks
- ability to provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- work collaboratively to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
- handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- have strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- support all groups and events at the hotel
- understand and use relevant technology for the role
- answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- keep all workspaces clean and well-organized both front and back of house
- pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- greet every guest happily by name if possible while cleaning
- complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
- wear clean, approved uniform with nametag and maintain professional grooming
- communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- demonstrate a willingness to stretch beyond traditional role to meet business and guest needs
- collaborate with team members to create welcoming environment and positive workplace
- complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and attending meetings
- thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms assigned per shift
- perform additional cleaning projects as assigned in storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and deep cleaning activities
- ensure all front and back of house areas are well-organized and clean
