Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in a hospitality, service or consumer-facing franchise preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving concerns
  • Must be able to convey information clearly
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled times unless directed otherwise
  • Must clock in and out for breaks at designated times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift

  • Experience in a hospitality, service or consumer-facing franchise preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
  • Support all groups and events occurring at the hotel
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet every guest happily while cleaning, by name if possible
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain personal grooming per handbook
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with all team members to create a welcoming environment
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking supplies and tools
  • Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift
  • Assist with additional cleaning projects in storage, public areas, and laundry
  • Maintain well-organized and clean front and back of house areas
