Job Requirements
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- ability to work independently and reschedule cleaning activities to meet residents' or nursing staff needs
- ability to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families, visitors and co-workers
- must be able to read and understand standard English
- must be able to work with standard cleaning chemicals
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred
- successful completion of a criminal background check
- employment and professional references required

Job Duties
- perform day-to-day housekeeping functions in facility offices, resident rooms and common areas
- sweep and mop floors
- dust furniture
- clean walls, furniture, and equipment as needed
- clean resident bathrooms
- handle special housekeeping projects as assigned
- work with chemicals and cleaning agents safely
