Job Requirements

  • Must have valid driver's license and proof of insurability
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands frequently
  • Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
  • Follow company policies including dress code, safety, and performance standards
  • Maintain professional image and report to work as scheduled
  • Participate in Manager on Duty program and direct banquet and catering staff as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills
  • Goal-driven and able to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

  • Generate new business by proactively seeking and building client relationships
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and group clients
  • Conduct sales calls, property tours, and presentations to potential clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet revenue goals
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure client needs are met and events run smoothly
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities
  • Participate in industry and civic organizations to promote business opportunities
