Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years experience in a customer service role
- Minimum one year hotel room sales experience preferred
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Schedule flexibility including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime
- Ability to identify and prioritize issues
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Ability to multi-task
- Bilingual in a foreign language preferred
- May be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license
- No driving responsibilities
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide the highest level of service to guests during all interactions
- Take reservations using proper hotel verbiage while meeting Forbes Travel Guidelines
- Answer phone with courteous and gracious manners and provide personalized service
- Describe room physical elements and offer guests choices to satisfy their needs
- Accommodate arriving and in-house guest requests to ensure high satisfaction
- Input and organize reservation information, including internet, travel agency requests, and internal communications
- Work with Casino VIP Services to meet player needs
- Assist with concierge services, guest itineraries and intradepartmental communication
- Assess guest requests and offer tailored suggestions and recommendations
- Maintain accurate logs of special requests and ensure blocking in PMS and front desk systems
- Prepare group guest lists prior to arrival
- Control and block rooms including pre-blocks for special groups
- Ensure all reservations transferred to PMS or front office system are accurate
- Maintain strong understanding of hotel selling strategy and stay current on room inventory status
- Use upselling and yield management techniques to maximize transient room revenue
- Upsell rooms, services, and treatments following enterprise procedures
- Be knowledgeable about hotel operations and amenities such as restaurants, spa, pool, casino promotions, event center, and special events
- Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient department operation
