Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends & holidays
  • Demonstrates hotel culture by creating a fun, happy, and safe work environment
  • Responsible for the appropriate scheduling of the front office and the front desk team members, labor reports, and payroll
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends & holidays
  • Required to have a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, hotel and restaurant management, or a related field
  • People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply

Job Duties

  • Managing the daily operations of a hotel including staffing, accounting, marketing, and maintenance
  • Ensuring that all employees are trained in proper procedures and meet and or exceed standards for customer service
  • Establishing budgets for operational expenses such as room rates, food costs, and employee wages and benefits
  • Developing marketing strategies to increase hotel occupancy rates and revenue through advertising campaigns, social media outreach, event planning, and more
  • Ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience by welcoming them at check-in, orienting them to the facilities, answering their questions, and resolving issues if any arise during their stay
  • Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed, including fire drills and emergency evacuation drills
  • Reviewing reports from front desk staff to identify emerging trends or problems that need attention
  • Demonstrates hotel culture by creating a fun, happy, and safe work environment
  • Responsible for the appropriate scheduling of the Front Office and the Front Desk team members, labor reports, and payroll
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned
