Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and operating heavy machinery
- flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to respond promptly to maintenance emergencies
- good communication skills
- willingness to learn and attend training sessions

- prior hotel or facility maintenance experience preferred
- knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems
- ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- strong problem-solving skills

- basic understanding of safety regulations and standards
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- comply at all times with Peachtree Hospitality Management Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- maintain regular attendance standards as required by scheduling
- have knowledge and understanding of all department policies and procedures and communicate and enforce all policies fairly and consistently with staff
- perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation of machines, building systems, and physical condition of the building
- assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl
- assist in checking electrical systems and make minor repairs and/or replacements
- assist in checking and making routine and major repairs of hotel equipment including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, plumbing systems and fixtures
- service the hotel's pool including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters
- maintain the building exterior and curb appeal including snow removal, lawn care, painting, trash removal, and gardening
- refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms and paint and finish if needed
- respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction
- operate heavy machinery
- repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
- diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
- assemble, install, and/or repair wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
- perform maintenance work orders timely to maintain guest satisfaction
- communicate with other departments pertaining to guest room conditions
- maintain clean and orderly work areas and storage rooms
- perform other duties as requested by management
- attend all training and meetings as required by management
