Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality or hotel front desk experience
  • Ability to supervise up to 15 employees
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Knowledge of front desk procedures and reservation systems
  • Compliance with KHC dress code and safety policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with reservation and front desk management systems
  • Knowledge of cash handling and credit card procedures
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts professionally
  • Basic understanding of hotel safety and emergency procedures
  • Ability to prepare and analyze sales and financial reports
  • Capability to train and manage staff effectively

Job Duties

  • Hire, train, schedule, assign duties and shifts to front desk workers
  • Observe performances to ensure adherence to KHC policies and franchise operating procedures
  • Communicate and cooperate with other department heads for coordination and guest complaint resolution
  • Answer inquiries related to property policies, services, and guest concerns
  • Develop and maintain guest information files about the property and local attractions
  • Manage the reservation system including inventory, rates, security, and group reservations
  • Ensure staff follow cash and credit card handling procedures
  • Greet guests warmly, register and assign rooms, and ensure proper payment methods and credit policies are applied
  • Enforce safety procedures and maintain guest privacy and key security
  • Patrol public areas, investigate disturbances, and resolve conflicts
  • Monitor night audit accuracy, assess open balances, and prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
  • Ensure 100% front desk coverage and cover shifts as needed including audit duties
  • Train, oversee, and cover Van Driver and Housemen positions when necessary
