Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supervising at least six associates at a branded, quality hotel
  • Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Valid driver’s license from the applicable state
  • Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, and stretching
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Availability 24/7 including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least five years’ experience in the hotel industry is preferred
  • Experience in accounting is preferred
  • Knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage operations is preferred
  • Computer literate and able to operate property management systems
  • Strong supervisory skills including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising, documenting, and motivating
  • Excellent communication skills with guests, department heads, associates, and corporate offices

Job Duties

  • Maintain a professional cohesive team by hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and developing the most qualified individuals
  • Promote positive morale and friendly attitudes
  • Complete administrative duties in a timely manner such as schedules, payroll, inventories, and production controls
  • Work within budgeted guidelines for maximum revenues and labor models
  • Maintain safety and security practices and have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
  • Ensure guests are provided with the highest quality product and service
  • Communicate and document using internal means such as logs and email
