Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supervising at least six associates at a branded, quality hotel
- Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Valid driver’s license from the applicable state
- Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, and stretching
- Ability to stand for eight hours and push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Availability 24/7 including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least five years’ experience in the hotel industry is preferred
- Experience in accounting is preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage operations is preferred
- Computer literate and able to operate property management systems
- Strong supervisory skills including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising, documenting, and motivating
- Excellent communication skills with guests, department heads, associates, and corporate offices
Job Duties
- Maintain a professional cohesive team by hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and developing the most qualified individuals
- Promote positive morale and friendly attitudes
- Complete administrative duties in a timely manner such as schedules, payroll, inventories, and production controls
- Work within budgeted guidelines for maximum revenues and labor models
- Maintain safety and security practices and have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
- Ensure guests are provided with the highest quality product and service
- Communicate and document using internal means such as logs and email
