Job Requirements

  • Two to four years of hospitality experience at a hotel casino resort complex
  • strong organizational skills
  • managerial skills
  • communications skills
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • ability to input and access information in property management, computers, and point of sales systems
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • able to withstand prolonged standing

Job Duties

  • Oversees guest check-in and check-out processes
  • manages room reservations and confirmations
  • verifies guest payments and issues room keys
  • coordinates with housekeeping and maintenance for guest requests
  • provides training and support to front desk clerks
  • maintains front desk supplies and equipment
  • controls guest access to safe deposit boxes
  • tracks and posts food, liquor, and telephone charges
  • conducts nightly financial audits and balances accounts
  • records and refers guest comments and complaints to management
  • ensures staff adherence to front desk operational procedures and financial controls
  • processes Players Club applications and issues Players Cards
  • promotes superior guest service and fosters team environment
