Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of experience in hotel industry or related customer service role
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation management software
  • excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • strong organizational and time management abilities
  • friendly and professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
  • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred
  • possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
  • high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems

Job Duties

  • handle customer complaints as necessary
  • welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel
  • provide keys and room numbers
  • record credit card information
  • work with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests
  • manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls
  • answer inquiries about guests' needs including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
  • perform regular bookkeeping duties and ensure hotel guest information is current and correct
