Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Some experience in general maintenance and painting
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb stairs, service ramps, and ladders
  • Ability to perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Basic computer skills
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Respond and attend to guest repair requests
  • Communicate with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment including cleaning and lubrication
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
  • Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance work
  • Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler systems
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
