Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ownership of a reliable vehicle
- possession of a valid Ohio Driver’s License
- maintenance of an acceptable driving record
- adequate vehicle insurance coverage
- ability to lift up to 45 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- experience in operating a personal vehicle for work-related tasks
- familiarity with navigating Central Ohio for delivery purposes
- experience working with older adults and handicapped individuals
- proficiency in reading, writing, and navigating using a map
- ability to communicate effectively in person with diverse individuals, environments, and populations
- ability to maintain discretion and integrity in handling confidential information
Job Duties
- Deliver ordered meals and other assigned items to clients in Central Ohio using a personal vehicle
- verify the accuracy of orders by checking and counting meals and beverages prior to delivery
- load meals, cases of Ensure, written materials, client contribution envelopes, and other necessary items into the vehicle for delivery
- ensure all deliveries are executed with care, maintaining the integrity and quality of the meals and items
- interact professionally and courteously with clients, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any immediate concerns or questions they may have
- maintain an accurate log of deliveries, including any client interactions or issues encountered during the delivery process
- adhere to all company and safety protocols, including maintaining confidentiality and discretion in handling client information
- communicate effectively with the LIFECARE ALLIANCE team to report any delivery issues or client needs that require attention
- maintain a reliable vehicle, ensuring it meets all safety and insurance requirements, and uphold an acceptable driving record
- demonstrate the ability to read, write, and navigate using a map to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
- lift and handle items weighing up to 45 pounds as required for loading and delivery purposes
- exhibit sensitivity and understanding when working with older adults and handicapped individuals, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction with the services provided
