Job Qualifications

Prior host or hostess or front-of-house experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Resy or similar reservation systems a plus

Job Duties

Warmly welcome and seat guests in a professional, friendly manner
Manage reservations and walk-ins using Resy and maintain accurate wait times
Coordinate with servers, managers, and floor staff to ensure smooth table flow
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area
Support management with special events, large parties, and VIP reservations
Uphold Lokal's service standards and contribute to a positive team environment
