Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of similar experience
  • Understanding the reservations system (Open Table)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar hospitality or front-of-house role
  • Proficiency with reservation systems such as Open Table
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and floor plans
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Responsible for welcoming and greeting all guests
  • Use personality and hospitality skills to provide a seamless and memorable guest experience
  • Check guests in and walk them to tables while engaging in conversation
  • Handle guest complaints and work to diffuse any unhappy situations
  • Master the operations of the Open Table system
  • Complete all opening and closing side work as assigned
  • Communicate all guest issues, open tables, and long waits to Restaurant Managers and the Maitre'd
