Job Duties
- maintains presence at host stand/door to professionally and graciously greet and seat customers
- monitors server performance to ensure smooth service during customer dining experience
- observes proper telephone etiquette
- handles reservations through OpenTable platform including VIPs and additional inquiries regarding hours, specials, and events
- organizes reservations and maximizes seating during operating hours while optimizing staffing and customer traffic
- adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions and maintains knowledge of POS system
- participates in daily pre-shift meetings
- fulfills duties involving lifting objects such as tables, chairs, and highchairs
- maintains cleanliness and presentability of all menus and menu covers
- maintains highest level of hygiene standards including clean uniform, styled hair, and nails
- adheres to posted work schedule and shift change procedures
