Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year previous experience in casual or fine-dining setting
- Ability to greet and seat guests warmly
- Attention to detail in organizing seating and managing wait lists
- Effective communication skills
- Positive attitude and genuine interest in customer service
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to learn new concepts
- Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
- Strong problem-solving and customer complaint resolution skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience of one year or more in casual or fine-dining setting preferred
- Experience in food and beverage service within a hotel or resort setting is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills to keep team members informed
- Positive and caring attitude towards guests
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-driven with an entrepreneurial approach
- Ability to physically perform duties such as carrying trays and cleaning
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently
- Coordinate table seating and organize seating charts
- Maintain guest wait-lists during busy periods
- Manage paging devices to inform guests when their table is ready
- Communicate effectively with service staff to update them on table status
- Present dining menus and inform guests about menu specials
- Assist with occasional cleaning and moving of tables and chairs
