- previous experience in customer service or restaurant environment preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Greet all arriving guests warmly and promptly
- accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
- seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing customer flow in service stations
- record guest names and party size when immediate seating is limited and provide estimated wait times
- call out names and party numbers when tables become available
- offer menus upon seating and inspect tables for proper presentation
- relay messages to servers as needed
- maintain clean entrance, lobby, dining room, and restrooms
- assist servers in stocking service stations
- transport bus tubs with dirty dishes to dish room if needed
- clean and reset tables promptly
- clean chairs, booths, and surrounding carpet
- take food and beverage take-out orders, enter orders in POS system
- process payments efficiently and correctly
- close checks
- thank guests and invite them to return
- perform side work at start and end of shifts
- be available to fill in as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
