- high school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- excellent customer service skills
- friendly and outgoing personality
- ability to stand for extended periods
- must be a team player
- ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
Job Qualifications
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- customer service experience preferred but not required
- positive and energetic attitude
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
- bilingual skills (Spanish and English) are beneficial
Job Duties
- greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude
- seat guests promptly and manage the waitlist effectively
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and entrance area
- engage with customers to promote the unique made-from-scratch flavors of Chuy's
- assist with answering the phone and taking reservations when needed
- support the restaurant team in ensuring a positive and fun dining atmosphere
- invite guests to return and build lasting relationships
