Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
- ability to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, holidays and weekends
- ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time
- ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment
- ability to understand, follow and maintain safety standards
- ability to communicate quickly and accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- ability to work well in a team environment
- knowledge of safety procedures
- ability to handle guest interactions positively and efficiently
Job Duties
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner
- meet, greet and seat guests to ensure positive guest experiences
- make fair and consistent decisions on seating for guests and parties
- provide information regarding all aspects of the restaurant and company including specials
- tend to guest special needs and requests including making sure service staff and kitchen are aware of allergies
- assist with delivering food to guests
- support the busser department in set up, breakdown and cleaning of tables
- observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence
- assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences
- constant working knowledge of Andretti brand, product and policies and procedures
- communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and fellow co-workers
- perform opening, running and closing department duties as assigned
- be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures
