Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic proficiency in English communication
- Willingness to undergo training for alcohol awareness and server safety
- Commitment to adhering to company policies and customer service standards
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes crowded environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with telephone and reservation systems
- Knowledge of food allergy procedures and special dietary requests is an advantage
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Warmly greet and seat guests in the restaurant
- Answer telephones and take orders, messages and reservations
- Be available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- Safely and effectively move chairs, tables, highchairs and booster seats
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively in English to perform and follow job requirements
- Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure
- Work in a confined, crowded space with variable noise and temperature levels
- Move and lift up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Stand and walk for entire shifts and navigate safely through all areas of the restaurant
