Job Requirements
- Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and grasp
- Sufficient mobility to move and operate in work area
- Ability to stand and walk during entire shift
- Ability to hear well in a loud environment
- Possess basic math skills
- Meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling
- Ability to observe and differentiate between monetary denominations
- Ability to operate point of sale system
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends
- Meets Denny's uniform and grooming standards and maintains them throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Dependable and able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions

Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing

Job Duties
- Greet guests immediately in a friendly manner upon arrival and acknowledge at departure
- Seat guests at clean, dry tables utilizing proper seating rotation
- Maintain guest waiting list and adhere to proper seating order procedures
- Describe promotions and suggestively sell while seating guests
- Take initial beverage order
- Attend to any other guest needs during the entire dining experience as warranted
- Demonstrate safe cash handling procedures and accurately complete cash, credit card, and discount transactions
