Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or customer service
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- basic computer skills
- reliable and punctual
- strong phone etiquette
Job Qualifications
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- experience using reservation systems preferred
- strong organizational skills
- friendly and welcoming demeanor
- previous hosting or customer service experience is a plus
- basic knowledge of the restaurant industry
Job Duties
- maintain an organized host stand
- ensure all food and drink menus are clean
- greet all customers immediately
- be the face of the bar and restaurant as hosts are the first and last team member customers will see
- control the flow of the floor with all walk-ins and reservations
- answer all phone calls including taking reservations over the phone and in-person
- use reservation systems to seat guests while spreading guests evenly throughout sections
- report directly to management and general manager
