Job Requirements
- Promote and act consistently with Vintage Tavern mission
- Warmly greet and seat guests
- Open doors for guests when possible
- Provide menus and inform server names
- Record guest names and party size
- Assign guests to tables following rotation
- Call out names when tables are available
- Ensure guest satisfaction and respond to complaints
- Answer telephone calls and transfer as needed
- Coordinate with kitchen, staff, and management
- Inspect dining and serving areas for cleanliness
- Inform guests about specials
- Record dining reservations
- Inspect and clean restrooms
- Direct guests to coatrooms and waiting lounges
- Relay messages to staff
- Thank guests and invite return
- Attend meetings and offer suggestions
- Assist fellow employees
- Fill in as needed
- Take and prepare to-go orders
- Operate cash registers
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic knowledge of operating cash registers
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
