Job Requirements
- minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in sales or account management preferably in hospitality or audio-visual sectors
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to lead and motivate a sales team
- proficiency with sales reporting and customer relationship management tools
- professional appearance and demeanor
- willingness to travel to various client locations as needed
- ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Job Qualifications
- proven experience in sales and account management within the hospitality or audio-visual industry
- strong leadership and team coaching skills
- excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
- familiarity with revenue management concepts and practices
- customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- adept at building and maintaining professional relationships
Job Duties
- develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market share objectives
- motivate and coach sales team members to maximize their performance and productivity
- conduct regular sales performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
- build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- understand customer needs and provide tailored audio-visual solutions
- negotiate contracts and close deals effectively
- address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
- actively participate in revenue management calls
- assist with servicing events
- attend weekly sales meetings
- complete weekly and monthly sales call reports and submit to the account manager and corporate operation and sales team
- exhibit a positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments and maintain open communication
- display a neat, clean, and business-like appearance at all times and represent themselves with integrity and professionalism
