Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass criminal background check
- Must successfully clear a 10-panel pre-employment drug screen
- Must agree to and receive required health screenings and vaccines
- Must have a valid unexpired state-issued driver’s license in good standing with a clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation
- Possess a great attitude and eagerness to learn
- Dependable
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces and hot/cold conditions
- Construction or mechanical, electrical or plumbing experience is a plus but not required
- OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required
- Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to read and hear to interpret documents, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Comfortable working with computer/technology
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in general maintenance preferred but not required
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- Basic computer and technology proficiency
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
- Good physical stamina for lifting and working in varying conditions
Job Duties
- Perform preventive and on-demand maintenance on hospital facilities and equipment
- Ensure hospital systems meet safety codes and regulations
- Work with a variety of systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and more
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotation once fully trained
- Act as a safety champion by adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
