Job Requirements
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be 25 years of age or older
- Have more than 1 year of unrestricted US driving history
- Have personal auto insurance policy
- Pass a background check including criminal and motor vehicle record checks
- Complete at least 10 hours of driving on the Via platform within 30 days to qualify for the $100 bonus
- Be self-employed and able to work as an independent contractor
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 25 years of age
- More than 1 year of unrestricted US driving history
- Personal auto insurance policy
- Ability to pass a background check including criminal and motor vehicle records
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience driving wheelchair-accessible vehicles is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide shared rides using efficient routing system
- Drive safely and responsibly while following all traffic laws
- Use Via’s app-based platform to accept ride requests and navigate routes
- Assist passengers as needed, including those requiring wheelchair-accessible vehicles
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all passengers
- Coordinate with Via’s support team for any necessary assistance
- Comply with all background and vehicle requirements to ensure rider safety
