Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Capability to perform physical movements such as standing, bending, and reaching during working hours
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good communication skills
- Must comply with health and safety standards and restaurant policies
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including peak hours

- Passion for real, good food and desire to learn culinary practices and skills
- Ability to demonstrate and execute a strong work ethic
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical requirements such as seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours
- Team-oriented focus with appreciation for colleagues and support of restaurant success
- Excellent communication skills with managers and team members
- Eye for detail and problem solving
- Desire for growth in the brigade
Job Duties
- Wash dishes, pots, etc using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and prep kitchen work stations
- Stock cleaning supplies and dishes in their respective areas
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Support team members and managers with daily cleaning tasks
- Gain exposure to different stations within the DIG kitchen including garde manger, grill, roast, market line, and prep
- Work to support the team during peak and off peak service by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary
- Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time
- Help to maintain the "A" letter grade by following Department of Health and DIG food safety standards
- Demonstrate professional maturity and strictly uphold DIG’s anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies
