Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements
  • Comfortable working near high heat and open flames
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous culinary or hibachi-related experience a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a hibachi chef, teppanyaki chef, or similar role preferred
  • Strong knife skills and solid understanding of basic cooking techniques
  • Outgoing, charismatic personality with a passion for entertaining
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Understanding of safe food handling practices and kitchen hygiene
  • Willingness to learn and grow with training provided

Job Duties

  • Operate hibachi grill stations in front of guests with precision and enthusiasm
  • Deliver energetic, engaging performances while cooking made-to-order dishes
  • Master knife tricks, flaming onion volcanoes, and other guest-favorite routines
  • Prepare proteins, vegetables, and rice dishes to perfection
  • Ensure proper portioning and high-quality plating for every order
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized cooking area at all times
  • Support inventory control and prep schedules with the kitchen team
  • Work as part of a team to deliver seamless, high-energy service
