Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years culinary experience
  • Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, and stretching
  • Ability to undertake repetitive manual tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Strong passion for hospitality
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least three years of culinary experience
  • Passion for hospitality and creating world-class hospitality experiences
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Valid local and/or state Food Handler permits or ability to obtain them
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Support your team in the preparation of all ingredients and food products to fulfill prep lists, par levels, and recipe standards
  • Utilize various preparation and cooking methods to ensure the quick, precise creation of menu items according to JOEY recipes
  • Maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner
  • Train partners on safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds
  • Manage recruitment, training, and development of kitchen staff
  • Communicate daily focus and feedback to partners
  • Manage in-store budgets, food costs, and labor
  • Ensure all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures are followed
  • Coach the kitchen team to deliver Iconic Hospitality standards
