Job Requirements
- Culinary degree preferred
- 3-5 years of chef experience
- Must have supervisory, coaching and staff development skills
- Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented
- Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- ServSafe certified
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physical duties including reaching, standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work extended hours during golf and holiday seasons

Job Duties
- Supervise preparation of catered and concession food items
- Evaluate food products to assure that quality standards are consistently achieved
- Improve menu selection
- Forecast budgets and develop action plans pertaining to food and beverage operations
- Ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas
- Maintain kitchen equipment by following operating guidelines, troubleshoot breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance
- Occasionally visit dining area to welcome members
- Institute and implement all Troon Human Resources guidelines
- Ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations
- Perform clean-up and closing procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
