Job Qualifications

  • Classically trained chef
  • 3+ years in professional, high-volume food production or catering experience or equivalent education
  • culinary degree is a plus
  • valid manager level sanitation certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency in various cooking methods and cuisines
  • ability to maintain kitchen and staff management records
  • professional appearance and positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Prepare, design, and execute menus
  • conduct menu meetings with chapters
  • create high-quality meals with excellent presentation and flavor
  • send photos of meal presentations to management
  • maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room
  • wash kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes
  • ensure timely kitchen operations
  • oversee and train kitchen staff
  • manage schedules and assess performance
  • order supplies within budget
  • enforce sanitation and food safety standards
  • maintain professional and positive attitude
  • assist in planning and executing special events
  • communicate regularly with management
  • ensure compliance with policies among staff
