Job Requirements

  • Must be at least twenty-one years of age
  • experience in cash handling and supervision
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public
  • customer service oriented
  • ability to stand, walk, use hands, sit, stoop or kneel, bend and lift or move up to 20 pounds
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • must be able to follow directions and exercise good judgment and safety awareness
  • willingness to comply with all safety policies and use required personal protective equipment
  • able to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least twenty-one years of age
  • cash handling experience
  • supervisory experience
  • ability to work with the public in a fast-paced environment
  • customer service experience
  • friendly and courteous demeanor
  • WI Food Manager Certification
  • CPR-AED Certification

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of guest services and concessions
  • orient, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff
  • prepare and conduct in-service staff training
  • review and verify timecards for accuracy
  • assist with supply and equipment orders and distribution
  • develop and implement routines, schedules, and procedures
  • follow cash control procedures
  • maintain and review records of programs, operations, staff, and facilities
  • evaluate vendors and items offered with recommendations for improvement
  • monitor safety and enforce policies and code of conduct
  • prepare and distribute information to participants and parents
  • maintain organized workspace with necessary supplies and equipment
  • respond to internal and external calls, emails, comments, and suggestions timely
  • assist in customer service including addressing issues, comments, complaints, and concerns
  • complete forms for accidents and incidents
  • assist with forecasts and planning for food, supplies, and equipment purchases
  • assist in menu planning
  • ensure sanitation and safety standards compliance
  • oversee and participate in food preparation and serving
  • enforce aquatic center policies independently
  • work under supervision of the Recreation Program Manager
