Job Requirements
- Conduct all activities according to AZA standards, regulatory laws, and safety protocols
- ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, rain, and cold
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- proficient in using radios, telephones, and computers for communication
- manual dexterity to type and handle tools
- possess cognitive, auditory, and visual abilities to perform job duties and safety practices
- willingness to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and special events
- ability to staff events and cover unexpected shifts
- capability to work in multiple physical positions including sitting, bending, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds
- ability to navigate rough and uneven terrain
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- prior customer service experience preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to develop positive relationships across departments
- effective time management and decision-making skills
- ability to follow instructions accurately
- multi-tasking abilities with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency in data entry with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute and alphanumeric speed of 8,000 key presses per hour
- cash handling experience preferred
- capability to contribute ideas effectively within the department
Job Duties
- Greeting and directing guests at the entrance
- selling admission tickets and upselling annual memberships and premium experiences
- providing exceptional customer service according to department guidelines
- performing guest screening at the point of entry
- enforcing policies and procedures with diplomacy and professionalism
- accurately handling payment transactions via cash register and computer systems
- completing detailed data entry in the Galaxy database including membership processing and premium tours
- maintaining cleanliness and organization of admissions and front plaza areas
- following daily activity schedules and safety guidelines
