Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year guest services, general office, accounts receivable, or customer service experience
- ability to speak and hear in English
- ability to stand for long periods and walk extended distances
- ability to lift and carry 6-25 lbs
- ability to use manual dexterity and motor skills
- willingness to work overtime and irregular hours

Job Duties
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- issue room key and escort instructions without announcing room numbers
- answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
- keep records of room availability and guest accounts
- make, confirm, and cancel reservations
- compute bills, collect payments, and make change
- post charges by hand or machine
- date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages
- transmit and receive messages via telephone, fax, and switchboard
- enforce hotel company credit policies
- account for cash and make deposits according to policies
- greet guests warmly
- take responsibility for assigned employees in manager's absence
- assign work and ensure performance
- make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations
- deposit guest valuables in safe
- order complimentary items for special guests
- perform other duties as assigned
