Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- minimum 2 years of experience driving a truck
- ability to follow maps, GPS or directions
- effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- ability to perform physical tasks including pushing or pulling linen carts up to 700 pounds
- ability to operate truck lift gate and back trucks into tight spaces
- ability to pass pre-employment drug test
- exceptional customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of truck driving experience
- effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- exceptional customer service skills
- ability to follow maps, GPS, or directions
- able to understand and complete basic math
- valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Conduct pre and post trip inspection of truck
- assist dispatchers and weighmasters by positioning carts and covering them with plastic
- load clean linen into trucks, checking accuracy against delivery tickets
- drive truck to customer locations and unload clean linen carts while interacting with hotel staff
- communicate customer concerns to production or logistics manager
- complete trip sheets documenting stops and cart counts
- report mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents promptly
- report delays related to pick-up or delivery
- perform all duties according to company policies and comply with all regulations
- maintain professional appearance and responsible driving
- comply with all customer safety and delivery requirements
- pass pre-employment drug test
