Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year of grounds, landscaping, or custodial work experience
- valid Arizona driver's license
- obtain and maintain State of Arizona pesticide applicator license within six months of hire
- successful completion of background check
- regular and reliable attendance
- ability to work in varying extreme weather conditions
- physical ability to perform job functions including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Job Duties
- Cutting and edging grass
- trimming trees and shrubs
- maintaining grounds
- cleaning and maintaining exterior landscaping, sidewalks, and parking areas
- installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinklers and irrigation systems including pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads
- operating powered equipment such as mowers, leaf blowers, sod cutters, chain-saws, and brush trimmers
- applying pesticides for weed and pest control with state-issued applicator license
- identifying and reporting repair needs
- making minor repairs when appropriate
- cleaning and emptying exterior trash bins
- sorting and delivering supplies and materials
- assisting custodial staff as needed
- painting and repairing items as needed
- performing other duties as assigned
