Job Duties
- Prepare food items by following recipes and/or product directions for grilling, theme areas, or pizza
- Adhere to production plans as assigned by the shift supervisor
- Utilize basic food preparation techniques, including receiving, storing, preparing, cooking to order, and holding food items
- Apply knowledge of food service sanitation and infection control procedures
- Follow HACCP guidelines and practices
- Communicate effectively with the Executive Chef, Food & Nutrition Supervisor, Group Leaders, and peers
- Assist in other areas of Food & Nutrition as needed
- Comply with hospital standards, policies, and procedures
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies and legal standards
