Job Duties

  • Prepare food items by following recipes and product directions
  • Season, cook, taste, and serve foods from Grill, Theme, or Pizza areas
  • Follow all production plans assigned by shift Supervisor
  • Apply basic food preparation techniques including receiving, storing, cooking to order, and holding food items
  • Demonstrate knowledge of food service sanitation and infection control procedures
  • Adhere to HACCP guidelines and practices
  • Communicate effectively with Executive Chef, Food & Nutrition Supervisor, Group Leaders, and team members
  • Assist other areas of Food & Nutrition department when necessary
  • Maintain punctual attendance and comply with hospital policies and standards
