Job Duties
- Prepare food items by following recipes and product directions
- Season, cook, taste, and serve foods from grill, theme, or pizza areas
- Follow all production plans assigned by shift supervisor
- Use basic food preparation techniques including receiving, storing, preparing, cooking to order, and holding food items
- Demonstrate knowledge of food service sanitation and practice infection control procedures
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines
- Communicate customer and department needs to executive chef, food and nutrition supervisor, group leaders, and peers
- Help other areas of Food and Nutrition when necessary
- Comply with hospital CTE and performance standards
- Maintain punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies
- Follow all Orlando Health policies and procedures
