Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior grill cook experience preferred
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Job Qualifications

  • ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
  • prior Grill Cook experience highly preferred

Job Duties

  • prepare food items following recipes and product directions
  • season, cook, taste, and serve foods from Grill, Theme, or Pizza areas
  • follow production plans assigned by shift supervisor
  • apply basic food preparation techniques including receiving, storing, and cooking to order
  • adhere to food service sanitation and infection control procedures
  • comply with HACCP guidelines and hospital policies
  • communicate customer and department needs to executive chef and food service team
  • assist other food and nutrition areas as needed
  • maintain regular and punctual attendance
